A litte about me
Hi my name is Emily, which you most likely know if you took the time to find my site… lucky you. Anyways, this is the section where I’m supposed to tell you a little bit about me (hence the section header: about) Well, I’m currently living out my teenage years in Plymouth Ma with all of this lovely New England weather and taking any opportunity I can to learn, write, and preform. For the past 3 years, I have been writing and figuring out what type of music I want to pursue. Finding myself was only the beginning of this journey though. I hope to spend many more years with all of you who have stuck with me since the days of half covered songs and squeaky chords, and for those whom I have just met.

I can't honestly start off without saying that ever since I was little, Taylor Swift has always been a huge lyrical inspiration to me. Finding creative ways to say how you feel without actually saying how you feel is her forte and I aspire to achieve the same. Now though, as a drift from the days my playlists consisted of "Our Song" and "You belong with me", I'm finding inspiration in the indie pop genera.
A lot of what I write now stems from bands like From Indian lakes, The Lumineers, Vance Joy, Kodaline, and the Civil wars. All of which are worth you checking out
New England To Nashville
You can usually find me among great people, great food, and great music. Being apart of the group New England to Nashville (NETN) has brought me to many new venues. Whether it is Wednesday nights at Loretta's Last call in Boston, Friday nights at the Paradise Cafe in Deham, or Sundays at the Sandcastle Lounge in Plymouth, the performers never disappoint. All are great places to show off new tunes or your veteran originals.
